there is so much here.. the contrast of the black and white backgrounds, that small space between the two pictures that represents so much more than just a small space, facing each other but not really seeing each other, bare skin that wants to be touched - surrounded by rough edges, the scraped 'now' that is everything you don't want...

it is breath-taking and heart-breaking.

Colin..how do you always outdo yourself like this?

it's that little space in between that means so much..the boundaries that we fear to cross, that keep us from one another..

thank you for the praise. this was a little bit of ambitious piece for me and i didn't really think it would come off until i finished it the other day.

these things always work better when i have a lot of unresolved issues to work through.

It may just be beacuse I've been to too many galleries lately, but I'd love to see these two huge ... Like 160" wide. That'd be awesome.
